Safety First
Carrying your baby is lots of fun, but we ask you to be mindful of the following points.
- Never use in a bed, car or car seat.
- Examine your sling before every use. Check the stitching is secure and there are no holes or tears. Do not use if damaged.
- Always use two hands to support a wriggling baby. Remove from sling and try again later.
- Always ensure that your baby has good airflow and can breathe normally. Do not allow your baby's face to become completely covered by material and ensure that baby's chin is not pressed against their chest.
- Make sure that baby does not overheat. Babies absorb your body heat and will be warmer in a sling.
- Be aware that babies will reach out for objects. Avoid hot drinks and ensure dangerous and sharp objects are out of reach.
- Do not smoke whilst wearing your sling and keep away from naked flames.
- Read the ‘How to Lifft' instructions carefully, ensuring that baby is securely between the 2 layers of fabric at all times.
The wearer is responsible for ensuring baby's safety at all times. Lifft (UK) Ltd is not liable for careless and improper use of Lifft slings.
