1. Put the folded sling over your preferred shoulder. If you are right handed, this will be your left shoulder. The stretch panel should be at your middle. |
2. Hold the baby's back against the same shoulder. Hold baby as high as possible. Cross baby's legs on top of their body.

3. Holding baby's legs crossed, line up the stretch panel to their bottom. |
| 4. Open the pouch and holding baby securely, wiggle baby's bottom into the sling between the two padded rails. |
5. Keep wiggling and lowering baby into the sling. Check that the baby is between the 2 layers of the sling. |
6. Once the bottom is in, slide the crossed legs into the sling. Pull the sling up over the baby to ensure they are secured. |
7. Gently cradle a newborn's head within the sling. At around 4 months of age, their arms may be out of the sling if prefered. |
