How old does my baby need to be to use a Lifft Sling?

You can use your Lifft sling from birth right through to toddlerhood. Our    slings have been tested and approved for carrying up to 35lbs in weight. This    is good news as parents (especially dad) often carry their older toddlers    when weary. Now it can be done hands free and in style!

Why should I buy a sling that is specifically sized to fit me?

The Lifft sling is so simple because it is sized to fit the wearer. If we added    adjustable buckles to the sling it would become bulky, uncomfortable and    complicated to use.

Many buckled slings are sold on the premise that both parents can and will    wear it. Dads often will not wear a baby sling as it is too feminine. Lifft has    the answer with a unique range just For Him.

What makes Lifft Slings so different?

The Lifft sling has been created, tested and used by designers who wear    and love slings! See The Lifft page for more technical data. The Lifft sling combines style, simplicity and comfort. A blend which has never been achieved in the baby carrying world until now.

How can the sling be used for newborns and toddlers?

Many baby carriers (especially front carriers) are outgrown by the time baby is 6 months old. Parents then have to invest in another sling. The Lifft sling will last from your baby being newly born until they are toddlers. This is because the sling has numerous comfortable carrying positions that change as your child grows.

When would I wear the Lifft Sling?

You can wear the Lifft Sling all the time! Because there is no bulk with our sling, you can wear it even when the baby is not being carried (such as when you are driving and baby is in the car seat). The sling is invaluable for short trips to the shops or picking siblings up from school - times that don't warrant getting the buggy out. Holidays, airports or busy shopping centers where there are many stairs and escalators. The Lifft sling makes moving through life with your baby a breeze.

How can I care for the Lifft Sling?

Your Lifft Sling is machine washable on the cold handwash setting. It will usually dry over night if hung. It is important not to tumble dry as this will affect the performance of the stretch back panel.
